Joseph at Greensparrow Gardens gave us an introduction to an unusual (at least for me) variety cyclamen. I love the narrower, pointy leaves and color patterns. I love reading Joseph’s blog not only for the information but for the enthusiasm in which he presents it. You can tell when people love what they do. Plus his Friday cartoons have inspired me to try my hand at some cartoons of my own. Look for those in the coming weeks.
I loved these easy plans for DIY rain barrels at Urban Garden casual. I want a rain barrel but something fancy isn’t in the gardening budget this year. One of these, however, I might just be able to swing.
I always enjoy the combination of metal and succulents but I particularly like it used as a wall panel as shown on Cactus Blog.
And who likes a good puzzle? I know I do. That’s why I enjoy checking out The Garden Professor’s Friday quizzes. It’s a great way to test your knowledge and attention to detail in the hort world. This weeks of a tree with some odd damage is an interesting one. What’s your take on it?
During last weeks #gardenchat, the subject came up about a lack of comments on blogs. It also goes further and includes some great information about what writers can do to increase discussion.
